The Italian made several outstanding saves to deny Spurs the win that Glenn and and a full house at the Lane felt we deserved. The 29-year-old produced stunning tip overs from Jamie Redknapp and Teddy Sheringham, while also blocking a Gus Poyet effort from roughly six yards out.
The boss also rued the lack of reward from a 20 minute spell of dominance at the beginning of the second half. The rain came and signalled an onslaught on the Chelsea goal, but the boys could not find a way past the in-form keeper.
"There were two key points really," reflected Glenn. "One, we had a real purple patch in the second half and just couldn't get that elusive goal. The second was the performance of their goalkeeper.
"He was wonderful - for them...
"We started a bit slow, but the momentum of our performance got better and better and I felt we should have won the game."
Glenn Hoddle pointed to the performance of goalkeeper Carlo Cudicini as a key factor in us not taking the full three points against Chelsea on Sunday.
