The crucial three points lifted us back into eighth and there is just one point between Everton and Southampton in fifth and sixth and Liverpool and ourselves in seventh and eighth.
"It has been waiting to happen, it's got to be said," beamed Glenn afterwards. "David Moyes and Everton will say 'why against us' but he's been threatening to do that game after game, we've all seen it and it's not a shock to me that he's ended up with a hat-trick.
"He's had this in other matches and this time he was clinical, absolutely clinical.
"It is important that we are looking for another striker and we've said that since the summer.
"We want to build the squad and it will take a little pressure of Robbie. It seems to be on him at the moment but he's handled it superbly and he showed that again. It was a magnificent hat-trick."
