Robbie Keane has told Spurs TV Online that in many ways it was a good thing that we went behind at West Ham.
Carlton Cole fired the Hammers ahead before goals from Jermain Defoe and Aaron Lennon turned the derby around 2-1 in our favour and secured our third win out of three at the start of the Barclays Premier League.
"In the two games previous to that we went ahead ourselves so I think it was good in a way that we went a goal behind to test our character," stated Keano. "And we certainly had that character and the ambition to go and win the game.
"It's never easy when you go a goal down in an away game, especially a London derby, so it was a positive result for us.
"Credit to the lads, we showed a lot of bottle to come back and get the three points we deserved."
Keano also talks about playing in our free-scoring forward line and looks ahead to Wednesday's Carling Cup tie at Doncaster and a meeting with former team-mate Neil Sullivan.
"I was with him for a season here and he's obviously still a top goalkeeper to still be playing at a good level like the Championship. We wish him well but hopefully we'll get a good result," said Robbie.
"It will be tough, Doncaster are a good footballing side, pass the ball well and it will be a test for us. We'll have to be careful."
