Robbie explains that successful partnerships take a little time to build, but is confident it will prove a productive pairing on Saturday.

"Bobby Zamora has come in and has always impressed me, as has Fredi Kanoute - so the signs are good."
Robbie added that he expects a difficult examination at St Andrews in the midday heat and is excited by the prospect.
"It will be a very tough test because of the way Birmingham play - they work hard for each other.
"The first game of the season is always difficult and I would imagine it will be baking hot as usual. It is exciting and you always want to do well in the first game and people want to impress.
"It is a game we're looking forward to."
