Robbie Keane has heaped praise on Niko Kranjcar, admitting: "Now I realise how good he is."
The Croatian star has lit up the Lane with his recent performances including a two-goal show against Peterborough United last time out.
His first goal in the FA Cup tie against Posh was an absolute beauty - cutting in from the left before firing into the top-right corner - and named goal of the day on ITV after Saturday's third round action.
Skipper Robbie, also on target in that 4-0 win, has also marvelled at Niko's performances of late. "He's a wonderful player, a proper footballer," he said.
"He's great to play with, very clever and links the play well.
"He's quite similar to Luka (Modric) in respect of how he plays, how he tucks inside from the wider areas. He's been fantastic.
"I'd played against him a few times and watched him and always thought he was a good player but you only realise how good he is when you play with him. He's even better than people expected."
