Kazu's target

Tottenham Hotspur (Spurs) Football Club is located in North London. The club is also known as Spurs. Tottenham's home ground is White Hart Lane. The club motto is Audere est Facere (To dare is to do).

Kazuyuki Toda hopes to be a fixture in the team between now and the end of the season after his first taste of the Premiership over Easter.

The Japanese international made his senior debut as a half-time substitute against Manchester City last Friday before starting for the first time at West Brom on Monday.

Always a bundle of energy, 'Kazu' did his prospects no harm with positive midfield displays in both matches.

He reflected: "I've wanted to play in every game since I've been at the club and at least I've had the chance to show what I can do on the pitch.

"I knew that the tempo would be much faster in the first team. At the start against City I made some mistakes and I wasn't totally satisfied but I've been preparing for that game and I thought it went okay.

"It was difficult to come on and I was hoping I could help change something to try and win the game. It was disappointing to lose but apart from that I enjoyed it.

"I was always ready for the moment so it was a case of not thinking too much about it, get out there and play.

"I'm not sure how the manager thought I did but I will prepare for the next game, train hard and hopefully I'll get another chance."
