The number of goals scored and conceded in the last four games has naturally attracted much attention while less has been focused on the fact that, since the turn of the year, the team have secured five Premiership wins and one draw from seven games.
"The way I look at it, things have been interesting but eight games ago we were in the relegation zone and now we are midway in the table," considered the USA international.
"That is basically all that matters. We are a bit clear of the bottom now and people can think about us pushing on into the top group and that sort of thing while, two months ago, there was panic about being relegated.
"You've got to take it for what it is, it has been a very strange season. If we can just achieve some stability from now to the end of the season and push on while not looking over our shoulder, I don't think we can really ask for anything more.
"Our Premiership form has been fantastic if you look at it from the position that we were in. It is quite remarkable."
Kasey Keller reflected on an eventful period for the team and reasoned that credit should be given for a productive return of Premiership points.
