Keeper Kasey feels that Ledley was fouled in the jump for the cross that led to Danny Dichio's opener for the Baggies, but he did not let it affect his confidence in dealing with the powerful threat of frontman Jason Roberts.
In the second half Roberts appeared to have broken clear of the Spurs rearguard and shaken off the attentions of Ledley before the England man produced a goal-saving challenge right on the edge of the area - coming away with the ball at his feet.
Then, as the team chased the win in the closing stages, it was Ledley who threaded a sublime pass into the path of Robbie Keane for the striker to seal the match with a fine finish.
"Their two up front were a handful and I am pretty sure that Ledley was fouled for the first goal against us," reflected Kasey.
"I felt sorry for him on that one, but he more than made up for it with the tremendous tackle and a great through ball for Robbie to score."
Kasey Keller paid tribute to Ledley King for the defender's key double contribution to the win over West Brom on Monday.
