Kasey disappointingly missed out on any playing action in Japan and South Korea, but was obviously in training and reports that he topped up his fitness during the short break.
"It's going well with Hans, I trained with Pat one day and I think everybody's happy with my fitness level," said Kasey.
"I didn't have much of a break and I trained a bit before I came back - all in all I feel in line with pretty much everybody else."
The keeper, who played the last seven games of last season, adds that he could have played in the weekend double-header but the coaching staff felt it was best to wait and he hopes to be involved in Wednesday's game at Crystal Palace.
"I felt I could have played at the weekend, but they wanted me to wait so we'll see what happens on Wednesday night."
Kasey Keller says he does not feel out of step, fitness-wise, with the rest of the squad after extra time off following the World Cup.
