Kasey goes Dutch

Tottenham Hotspur (Spurs) Football Club is located in North London. The club is also known as Spurs. Tottenham's home ground is White Hart Lane. The club motto is Audere est Facere (To dare is to do).

Kasey Keller shared a half each with Brad Friedel against Holland last night as the race for USA's number one spot in the World Cup hots up.

There was very little to chose between Spurs star Kasey and his rival from Blackburn Rovers as the Dutch ran out 2-0 winners.

Both made saves in their 45-minute stints - Kasey most notably denied Andy van der Mayde from close range in the 49th minute - and both let in a goal each at the Foxboro Stadium.

Roy Makaay opened the scoring just before half-time and van der Mayde beat Kasey after a mistake by David Regis in the 76th minute.

The USA leave for the World Cup on Thursday after earlier defeats to Italy, Germany and the Republic of Ireland but victories against Jamaica and Uruguay.

Meanwhile, Sergei Rebrov played 55 minutes as Ukraine were beaten by Belarus in the final of the LG Cup in Moscow.

Sergei created Ukraine's best chance, wasted by Andriy Voborey, before second half strikes from Valiantsin Bialkevich and Aliaksandr Gleb saw Belarus claim a fine victory.
