Tottenham Hotspur (Spurs) Football Club is located in North London. The club is also known as Spurs. Tottenham's home ground is White Hart Lane. The club motto is Audere est Facere (To dare is to do).

We are delighted to announce a new four-year sponsorship deal with Kappa, as the Club’s official shirt and leisure wear partner.

The Turin-based company is at the forefront of sports apparel and footwear technology and design.

Kappa provides the award-winning kit for the Italian national team, along with that of AS Roma, Real Zaragoza, Real Betis, Feyenoord, Auxerre, Blackburn Rovers and the Welsh national team. The new agreement commences 1st July 2002.

Commenting on the new four-year agreement, Daniel Levy, Chairman of Tottenham Hotspur, said: “It was important to choose the right partner for the club and despite receiving several proposals we were very impressed by Kappa’s offer.

"Kappa’s design team have a proven track record of producing award winning designs that also benefit from utilising new sports clothing technology.”

Manager Glenn Hoddle added: “It was important that our new look, and it is a very new stylish look, was modern but acknowledged our tradition. We think they’re great and I’m confident our supporters will love the designs too”

Ewan Scott, Managing Director, Kappa Great Britain, said: “Our affiliation with Tottenham Hotspur reinforces Kappa’s commitment to football, and perfectly fits with our brand values of style and innovation.

"We are genuinely excited about the future prospects at Tottenham, and look forward to a winning partnership.”

In addition to Kappa’s design, the technology behind the fabric of its sports clothing is revolutionary due to its blend of Meryl® Microfibre and Lycra®.

The Kombat 2002 is the lightest football jersey on the market today and benefits from exceptional absorption and drying properties, allowing the Player’s body to cool effectively. The unique elasticity allows the shirt to stretch up to 130%.

The new kit will be launched during the summer.
