Tottenham Hotspur (Spurs) Football Club is located in North London. The club is also known as Spurs. Tottenham's home ground is White Hart Lane. The club motto is Audere est Facere (To dare is to do).

Kappa are pleased to introduce an exciting new tournament concept to the international football calendar, the Kappa Cup.

This inaugural event will be held in Seville, Spain from the 3rd-5th August 2004 and will showcase four of Kappa's main sponsored soccer teams.

The innovative Kappa Cup will be hosted in the city of Seville, home of Kappa sponsored Real Betis Balompie. Betis, one of the most popular Clubs in Spain will be a key participant in the tournament and with be joined by other prestigious Kappa sponsored teams from across Europe.

Combatants for the inaugural trophy also include, Dutch team Feyenoord Rotterdam, former UEFA Champions in 2001 and currently one of the best teams in Holland. London based, Tottenham Hotspur from the English Premier League and last but certainly not least, Partizan Belgrade, second in this years Serbian League and hoping for back-to-back appearances in next seasons Champions League.

Kappa is pleased to have the support and commitment of four of our main sponsored teams.
The Kappa Cup will be held over a three-day period. The structure of the tournament will involve two semi-finals, in which the respective winners will then proceed to play a final to determine which team will be awarded, the first ever 'Kappa Cup'. The losers of each semi final will play for the third position.

The Kappa Cup will serve to further increase Kappa’s recognition, exposure and positioning in the international sports market place. This flagship event perfectly fits with the Kappa brand value of innovation providing a unique friendly game structure for the teams and fans with global marketing opportunities.

The event reinforces the synergy between the Kappa brand and the involved sponsored Clubs and additionally the Cup will provide consumers with a show-window for the revolutionary Kombat product line.

The first Kombat 2000, made an appearance at the European 2000 Championships as the official uniform of the Italian National Team. The new fitted 'stretch shirt' was unique and the innovation continued for the World Cup with Kombat 2002. The Kappa Cup will be a platform in which to present the next phase in the evolution of the Kombat philosophy, the new Kombat 2004.

The Kappa brand has a strong heritage and tradition in the world of football and has been instrumental in changing the concept of what soccer marketing represents. First to sponsor an Italian team, Juventus in 1972, Kappa was soon associated with many of Europe’s other top teams.
