The French hitman has joined an exciting strikeforce that also includes Irish star Robbie, Portugese wonderkid Helder Postiga and prolific former Brighton forward Bobby Zamora.
"I'm looking forward to playing with Robbie," said Fredi at his first day at Spurs Lodge this morning. "I know he's already played in Italy and he is a very skilful player. I think we can have a good relationship.
"I know the club has focused on the forward areas, they have bought a few players and of course Robbie who was here already. I think that competition will be very good from the strikers point of view.
"My goals are to achieve something as a team and personally to do what every striker has to do - to score many goals and have good partnerships with the other strikers."
Fredi Kanoute is already looking ahead to striking up a partnership with Robbie Keane.
