It was mixed emotions for Tom Huddlestone as three of our players helped England book a place in next summer's European U21 Championship finals on Tuesday night.

Tom, Jamie O'Hara and Fraizer Campbell all featured in the 2-2 draw against Wales in the second leg of the finals' play-off at Villa Park as England progressed to Sweden '09 via a 5-4 aggregate scoreline.

Midfielder Tom, earning his 30th cap at this level, opened the scoring when he guided home a free-kick from the edge of the area after 13 minutes.

However, he experienced the other side of football's coin when he was somewhat harshly sent off after going in for a 50-50 tackle with Darcy Blake in the second half. The Wales defender got to the ball a fraction before Tom but referee Kevin Blom deemed it enough for a straight red card.

The reshuffle saw Fraizer - introduced at the start of the second half for Gabriel Agbonlahor - lead the line on his own for the final 25 minutes.

Jamie, meanwhile, played the full 90 minutes at left-back and played a key role in the second goal, swinging in the free-kick from the right that was met by Steven Taylor and flew home off Sam Vokes to level the score at 2-2 on the night.
