Joy for Irish Spurs

Tottenham Hotspur (Spurs) Football Club is located in North London. The club is also known as Spurs. Tottenham's home ground is White Hart Lane. The club motto is Audere est Facere (To dare is to do).

Gary Doherty was Ireland's talisman again as our Irish trio played a huge part in the Republic's late, late Euro 2004 qualifying win against Albania on Saturday.

Big Doc - who grabbed a winner in Georgia in March - controlled Stephen Carr's inch-perfect pass before hitting a cross-shot that was turned into his own net by Adrian Aliaj to secure the crucial 2-1 win in injury time.

It was full-back Stephen's second assist having set-up Robbie Keane's opener in the first half.
