Noe Pamarot capped a fine display at centre-back alongside Anthony Gardner with the key first goal after 59 minutes, Robbie Keane tapped home from Michael Brown's flick for 2-0 after 71 minutes - both goals coming from Reto Ziegler's fine corner deliveries - before substitute Mido completed the scoring in injury time.
We now face a trip to Newcastle United in the quarter-finals on Sunday March 13.
Head Coach Martin Jol said: "It was a professional, solid performance. We gave them one chance in the first half and we had two or three ourselves.
"I felt we did a lot better in the second half and we are pleased to be in the quarter-finals.
"To get two goals was satisfying but then Mido came on to get the third.
"I was a bit disappointed for Browny (Michael Brown) as his shot came back off the bar to Mido as he worked his socks off.
"I know how important the FA Cup is to Tottenham and I thought our supporters were unbelievable again."
Martin Jol pointed to the professionalism of the players after our 3-0 win in Wednesday night's FA Cup fifth round replay at Forest.
