Martin Jol reflected that there were no easy ties after our UEFA Cup pairing with Sevilla at the quarter-final stage of the competition.Last season's winners - who have our former striker Fredi Kanoute among their number - scored late in extra time to beat Shaktar Donetsk on aggregate in their Round of 16 tie. They were named 'Team of the Season' by UEFA following their 4-0 victory over Middlesbrough in Eindhoven and going on to defeat Barcelona 3-0 in the Super Cup final.

"It is a good thing that we are in the last eight and it is our fifth quarter-final in three seasons so that is something to be proud of," reacted Martin Jol to the draw. "You have got to beat the best to get to the final and there is no such thing as an easy draw at this stage."

Sporting Director Damien Comolli, who was present at the draw in Glasgow, added: "I think it is going to be a fantastic tie involving two very attacking sides with great forwards.

"Sevilla have a super ground with a great atmosphere, while we all know what European nights are like at White Hart Lane so it will be very exciting."
