In-form Rovers - seven wins in their last 10 league games including Arsenal last time out - are next the Lane for a massive Premiership clash.
That run has seen them rise up to fifth in the table (before Saturday's fixtures) and within three points of us in fourth.
"Everyone can see now how strong they are, especially as they are now fifth in the table," said Head Coach Martin. "We knew that because when played them away earlier in the season they perhaps weren't settled but now they have a settled team.
"Sometimes they play five in midfield and sometimes 4-4-2 but it's a strong team, very organised and they are playing very well.
"They break very quickly but they can play as well.
"I think Neill is a very good full-back, in midfield Tugay is a passer, Pedersen might be out injured but he always seems to score against the big teams, Kuqi works very hard and Bellamy is a great asset for them. They have qualities that can damage any other team."
Martin wants to see a return to winning ways at the Lane after two draws in our last three home games and is aware that home form will play an important role in the run in.
"Our home record is very good and I feel the only difference between us and the top sides is the draws," he added.
"The only disappointments were Aston Villa, although we played well and Sunderland away from home. Those four points would have left us in a very good position but we're still fourth and a lot of teams would like to be in our position.
"We've been fourth for a couple of months now and that means we've done well.
"If we do what we did before at home it will make all the difference because if we win our games at the Lane it will be 15 points and that is a lot."
Martin Jol says Sunday's opponents Blackburn Rovers have qualities 'that can damage any team'.
