Martin Jol has been impressed with what he's seen of Fulham's Dutch Under-21 international Collins John.
The 19-year-old burst onto the scene last season with four goals in eight games for Fulham and has managed eight in 35 appearances this term - with 21 of those appearances as substitute.
The former FC Twente forward who can play either up front or on the wing also caught the eye recently with a goal in Holland Under-21s friendly win against England.
"He was 17-years-old when he broke into the FC Twente side, he was there one and a half years and then went to Fulham," recalled Martin.
"He's a striker but I've seen him play on the wing in Holland and he's a very talented player.
"He's can score a goal and he's versatile. It's a big quality for a forward to be able to play on the wing and up front as a striker. He's a goalscorer, quick, strong and confident. He's very good, a complete striker."
Continuing the Dutch theme, Martin also speaks highly of Edwin Van der Sar, the former Ajax and Juventus goalkeeper approaching 100 caps for his country.
Martin added: "Peter Schmeichel said on television that he was the best goalkeeper in England. I think there a few competitors, English ones as well.
"I don't think we've seen the best of him all the time but in Holland, they always said he was one of the best goalkeepers in Europe and I think he is."
