Our Head Coach's fellow countrymen Boudewijn Zenden and Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink have been key men in Boro's climb to fourth place in the Barclays Premiership.
Steve McClaren's men are on a run of seven league games unbeaten as they arrive at the Lane on Sunday having beaten Liverpool last week. They are in Spain tonight to take on Villareal in the UEFA Cup.
Tricky winger Zenden has scored three goals in his last four league matches while Hasselbaink has bagged six so far this term.
"Middlesbrough is a difficult game but after Arsenal, where we scored four goals and after Villa, I'm confident," said Martin.
"I know Zenden and Hasselbaink are big players for Middlesbrough.
"Zenden has more than 50 caps for Holland but he's still only young, Hasselbaink is another international and top scorer wherever he's played, Spain, England and Portugal.
"They are internationals, big players but we have big players as well and we have to focus on our strengths. We have Ledley King so hopefully he can keep Hasselbaink quiet."
Martin Jol is well aware of the threat posed by Middlesbrough's Dutch duo this weekend.
