John Gorman knows exactly what to expect from our Premiership opener at Birmingham City.
And that means high-octane stuff as we kick-off our competitive campaign at St Andrews.
"You always know the way they are going to play," said our assistant manager. "It's up and at 'em, high-tempo and the fans will be fantastic, right behind them as always.
"It will be a game where everyone will have to work hard together as a team and I think we might have a few surprises in store."
John added that although preparations have been hampered by injuries, it could give youngsters a chance to shine.
He pointed out: "We've worked hard, trained well and we're unfortunate with the injuries - but we'll be very positive with the players we've got.
"Anyway, come next week, we should have players back and they'll then be fighting for places.
"We've a few young lads in the frame and that is always good to see, the likes of Rohan Ricketts, Dean Marney, Stephen Kelly, Jamie Slabber, John Jackson, some good young boys who will have the chance to come with us."
