Our assistant boss - present at Fulham's last two games - points out that, apart from the recognised central pairing of Sean Davis and Steed Malbranque, Jean Tigana also has Japanese international Junichi Inamoto to call on should he wish.
Inamoto started against West Brom last week and made something of an impression on John.
"Malbranque is a very talented player and a real threat," reflected the Scot. "Inamoto came in against West Brom as Davis was out ill. Davis is a good player and really controls the game for them.
"Inamoto was outstanding though, made some great runs and was exciting when he came on at the weekend."
It was Inamoto's entrance as substitute that made a big difference to Fulham at Loftus Road in September.
"He did actually. He is lively and has a go. After his performance on Wednesday I would imagine he'll be starting on Monday night.
"They have got some very good talented players. Harley scored that special goal against Burnley and Wome came in against West Brom to replace him and also scored a special goal.
"Saha is maybe not on top of his game but very dangerous and takes people on. Sava up front is capable of doing anything because he's got lovely touches."
John Gorman has identified the midfield as a key battle ground ahead of tonight's game - given the quality Fulham possess in that area.
