John Gorman has backed the lads to bounce back from last weekend's cup final misery when we face Sunderland on Saturday.
Blackburn Rovers grabbed the glory in the Worthington Cup Final on Sunday and we were left to reflect on missed chances and a late penalty appeal turned down by referee Graham Poll.
But now the attention turns to precious Premiership points.
"They are good professionals," said John. "They've all been through it. I think Ledley King will take it in his stride. They are the players you would normally be worried about but I'm not worried in the least about him."
John added that it was all about looking ahead. "We've got to," he insisted. "We were in the final and a lot of teams would have loved to have been there in our place.
"On the day, Blackburn got the result. We had the chances and on another day we might have got the right result.
"We were a bit below par but normally when you play poorly, you don't make chances. We did that. They got the breaks and you need that in a final.
"We did get to a cup final, people have to remember that as well. To get beat is the most disappointing thing. What we want is the hurt the lads felt on Sunday to make us stronger for the next time we are there."
