Jermaine Jenas felt last season was his best so far at Spurs - he's now looking to improve again when we kick-off in August.
'JJ' enjoyed a fine campaign with the highlights his performances in the League Cup semi-final triumph over Arsenal and a recall to the England set-up.
The all-energy midfielder played in 45 of our 57 games in all competitions, scoring six goals.
That goal tally included the opener in the 5-1 semi-final, second leg win against Arsenal at the Lane in one of the best individual displays of the season - JJ scored one and set-up another two goals on that memorable night.
"I thoroughly enjoyed the season," stated the midfielder, who joined us at the start of the 2005-06 campaign. "And it was my best here so far, definitely.
"There were a lot of positives in terms of our first cup win but we didn't finish where we wanted to in the league.
"It's important to change that. We need to find consistency, especially looking at when we went ahead in a number of games towards the end of the season but ended up drawing, we need to have that killer instinct about us and if we can change that, then we'll be fine.
"On a personal note, yes, I think I had a good season and I want more of the same, to keep playing well for Tottenham. I want to improve and become an even better player here."
NEXT WEEK - look out for interviews with JJ and Ledley King on Spurs TV Online...
