Jimmy Neighbour took the positives from Saturday's defeat against West Ham.

In the end an unfortunate penalty on the hour paved the way for West Ham's victory and they added a second goal just before time.

Coach Jim said: "Obviously we're disappointed with the defeat but our defending was a lot better than last week at Millwall.

"It was an even first half and the penalty was a little unfortunate, Joe Watson just clipped the forward's heels as he cut across him. He didn't mean it but it was a penalty.

"But we created one or two opportunities, could have scored and defended better, so there were positives."

Spurs U17s: Eyre, Watson, Francis, McKenna, Hodges, Ifil, Ahmed (Lee, 85), Hicks, Malcolm, Price, Toussaint (Jones, 45). Unused subs: Eade, Jenkins, Welch.
