Arsenal U17s 2-1 Spurs

Coach Jimmy Neighbour found encouragement from his side's second half revival against Arsenal on Saturday.

The boys were 2-0 down at the interval after goals in the 25th and 43rd minutes.

But they recovered after the break, hit back when Kieran McKenna finished off a short-corner routine and competed better all over the park.

Jimmy reflected: "We actually started well in the first 10, 15 minutes but allowed them back into it and ended the half on the back foot.

"Credit to them though, we battled back in the second half, the goal lifted us and we had a go."

Spurs U17s: Eyre, Watson, Francis (Daniels, 65), McKenna, Ifil, Dobson, Ahmed (Heller, 75), Hicks, Barcham, Price, Jenkins. Unused subs: Hodges, Eade, Welch.
