Jermain Defoe made the 350th senior appearance of his club career at Wigan on Sunday.

Jermain Defoe made the 350th senior appearance of his club career at Wigan on Sunday.

He scored the only goal on his debut for West Ham United, aged 17, coming on as a substitute to net six minutes from time in a Worthington Cup second round first leg tie at Walsall on September 19, 2000.

The striker played 105 games for the Hammers, 31 whilst on loan to AFC Bournemouth and 36 for Portsmouth to add to his Spurs tally of 178 matches.

Jermain's goals total in all competitions now stands at 141.
