Jermain Defoe insists belief is the key to us getting back to winning ways when we take on Fulham at the Lane tonight.
We go into this London derby looking for our first win in four games following a couple of frustrating home draws and a defeat at Liverpool just under a week ago.
But our striker feels this run of results is not a reflection of how we have been playing, and the failure to win since January 2 has certainly not affected team spirit.
Instead, JD is convinced that little needs to be addressed in our game and simply getting the 'rub of the green' may prove to be the difference in us claiming a vital three points against the Cottagers.
He said: "We've been playing so well but maybe we haven't got the luck that we've deserved of late. It's hard to take, but if we continue to play well hopefully the results will come.
"It's always difficult when you haven't won a game, but we're still in the FA Cup and fourth in the league, which is the main thing.
"The spirit has always been good but, at this stage, it's important for us to stay focused. If we do that, I truly believe everything will be okay.
"We've got a lot of games coming up but we've got a great squad with players who can come in and produce performances."
On tonight's opponents Fulham, JD continued: "It's a massive game and they are a good team with a great manager, but hopefully we can get three points."
