Few Spurs fans will need reminding of what happened against West Ham last time out as our unbeaten record at the Lane this season fell to the Hammers.
But with just two defeats in 12 matches in all competitions, Jan is convinced we can recover our form quickly after the international break.
“We want to get back to winning ways,” said Jan, who helped Belgium qualify for the World Cup during the break from domestic action.
“We want to bounce back. It’s a very tough game, especially away, but we showed before we can win there and everyone is highly motivated to do it again on Sunday.”
We have toppled Villa 4-0 on our last two visits to Villa Park on Boxing Day last year and more recently in the Capital One Cup last month.
Jan predicts that Sunday’s encounter will be completely different from that tie - not least with his Belgian team-mate Christian Benteke expected to return from injury for Villa.
“I think Benteke will be fit,” added Jan, who could end up marking him. “He trained with us (Belgium) a couple of times and he's had a full week to focus. He’s an unbelievable player and so important for Villa.
“It will be certainly be a different Villa team to the one we saw in the Capital One Cup.”
