Jan was imperious throughout a memorable 2-0 win as quickfire goals from Dele Alli and Harry Kane secured the three points that mean we'll finish above the Gunners. It was also our ninth-successive win in the Premier League and 13th straight home league win - the second-best run on the Club's history.
Derby day success also reduced Chelsea's lead at the top of the Premier League back down to four points after they went seven ahead with a win at Everton just before we kicked-off.
It could have been even more at the Lane and Jan was denied what would have been a one of the great derby strikes when Petr Cech clawed his 25-yarder out of the top corner.
That would have been the icing on the cake, but the day was sweet enough for 'SuperJan'.
"It sounds like a good day!" said Jan. "It was a very good game from everyone, from start to finish. It was the perfect day to put on a performance and I’m very proud of it.
"We knew we had to focus. It was the last north London derby at the Lane and that’s so special for so many people. I know what it means. It was a very big day and we’ve one more to come (United on May 14). Let’s hope we can make that one special.
"To reach 200 games is a very special moment, especially a day like today. I’m very proud. I’ve been here five seasons now and hopefully there are more to come."
We dominated and had the best chances, but it was goalless at the break as both Dele and Christian Eriksen were inches away from opening the scoring.
What was said at half-time? "We were very calm," revealed Jan. "We said ‘continue the way we’re playing and we’ll score’.
"We were so strong and confident and especially with what we’ve showed at the Lane, we knew it was coming. We scored twice in three minutes and we knew the game was over."
