The midfielder bounced back in style at the Riverside after five months out with a stress fracture of the foot.
On at half-time, Jamie marked his first Premiership match since December with a 30-yard free-kick into the top corner.
"It was a great free-kick and more importantly, it was great to see him back," said Glenn afterwards.
"It's a shame that the season is coming to an end because the lad has had a difficult five months.
"It's classic case of it's been five months too long for us and the same for him. You miss that talent and we've had that scenario all season."
