Jamie O'Hara is hoping we can progress as far as we can in this season's UEFA Cup in order to play on the biggest stage possible.

Our young midfielder is relishing the possibility of meeting European giants such as PSV Eindhoven, Bayern Munich and Benfica in later rounds.

But first, Jamie knows we must get past Slavia Prague in tonight’s Round of 32 Second Leg at White Hart Lane.

He said: “I’ve always wanted to play on the biggest stage so these are the type of games you want to play in. It’s just great to be involved and hopefully I can keep going.

“The further we progress in the competition, the better the teams we’re going to be playing against, so if we can go all the way to this Final it will be fantastic for everyone.

“This is a massive competition. You’ve got teams who have dropped out of the Champions League and they’re big clubs.

“Everyone’s confident of getting through to the latter stages and that’s what everyone wants because it’s the big stage and it’s great for the club.

On the first leg against Slavia he continued: “We had the opportunity to come away from Prague with a big lead, but they came out in the second half and fair play to them, they put us under a lot of pressure.

“That’s just the way it goes, but we’re confident going into the second leg about getting a result and going through the next round.”
