Jamie Redknapp says there are positives to be taken from the share of the spoils at West Brom - not least the fact that we are still unbeaten.
It was tricky to fathom the emotion among players and supporters alike after the draw at the Hawthorns - was it a point won or two lost? The general feeling was a bit of both.
"I think we are happy as we are still unbeaten," reflected the skipper. "I keep going back to it, pre-season was a little bit up and down - more down than up - but I feel it is good now and Jacques has got us all working hard.
"I think you can see there is a good spirit in the team, it really feels like it, it feels like we're really together and hopefully we can keep that going.
"Now we've got a big game against Birmingham on Saturday and we'll push on. We were reasonably happy with the result at West Brom and I think it was a positive rather than a negative.
"I think we played some good stuff at times, although perhaps not as cutting as we would have liked, or as incisive. If we beat Birmingham it becomes a very good point - that is the key."
