Jamie O'Hara believes league positions will go out of the window in tonight's clash with fourth place Everton.David Moyes’ side are having a great season as they chase a place in the Champions League, but although we still sit only 11th in the table, our young midfielder feels we have enough quality to match the Merseysiders.

Further belief springs from the fact we have won our last three games at Goodison Park, although Jamie is only focused on the here and now.

He said: “It’s a tough game but a massive game for us at the same time because if we can get a win up there and get our league form together, we’ll be going into a lot of up-coming games in a good frame of mind and hopefully we can finish the season strongly.

“Everton are a strong side and they’ve got good players all over the park, but we’ve got all the qualities of a team that could qualify for Europe, so there’s no reason we can’t beat them.

“I think we’ve got to take every game as it comes, and this is a new game. We’ve just got to go out there, play the way the gaffer wants us to play, and get a result.”

Jamie goes into tonight’s clash in great form, having performed well in an unfamiliar left-back role against current Player of the Year Cristiano Ronaldo at Old Trafford on Sunday.

He added: “I’m just taking the whole thing as a massive experience at the moment and I just want to play as many games as possible, keep doing well for the team and keep trying to impress the manager.”
