Jamie Redknapp feels Portsmouth are deserving of the 'entertainers' tag that has been bestowed on them by the broadcast media.
The suspicion is Fratton Park is not the place for a goalless draw and the venue for our game tonight has already witnessed 14 goals in four games so far this season.
Jamie, who misses out on the chance to put one over his dad Harry due to suspension, considers the boys should aim to take advantage of Pompey's offensive mentality by seeking out gaps at the other end.
"They are a very attacking team and we've got to be aware of that," previewed the skipper. Defensively they've let in a few goals, but they have played some great football and the game I saw against Fulham on TV was a great spectacle and had everything.
"Dad has done a great job done there, no doubt about that. It will be a good game and Sky must be expecting one to put it on live."
Pompey are something of a form horse, unbeaten in nine out of their final ten games of last season, they have been on the wrong end of only three scorelines so far this term.
"They are, it was an incredible run to avoid relegation and this season, with a bit of luck, I think they could have had a few more points. They got beaten at Charlton in the last minute when Shaka made an uncharacteristic error, but they have done really well," added Jamie, who says Harry is pretty content with the way things are going.
"He is alright, he loves his football. If Portsmouth stay up that is an achievement in itself and hopefully they will do that."
