Jamie hoping to be back soon

Posted on 16 April 2003  - 12:00

Tottenham Hotspur (Spurs) Football Club is located in North London. The club is also known as Spurs. Tottenham's home ground is White Hart Lane. The club motto is Audere est Facere (To dare is to do).

Jamie Redknapp reports that he should be back training with squad in the next week and hopes to be back playing before the end of the campaign.

The midfielder has been out since early December after suffering a stress fracture in his foot but is now back running and kicking the ball.

"I'll be joining in with the lads hopefully some time in the next week or so," said Jamie at Spurs Lodge. "I've been running and doing everything else so, fingers crossed, I'll be back before the end of the season

"It's feeling better, definitely, which is great news because it has dragged on for a long, long time unfortunately.

"Hopefully it should be okay now. I've been kicking the ball about okay so, like I say, hopefully I'll be back with the lads soon.

"I can't wait to get back into it really."
