The midfielder made a successful return to action in our reserve clash against Arsenal on Wednesday night following four months on the sidelines with a stress fracture of the foot.
He naturally has one eye on next season but with only three games remaining in this campaign, is desperate to return as soon as possible.
"It's up to the manager and if the manager asked me if I was alright to play then of course I would love to play," insisted Jamie at Barnet's Underhill ground.
"I want to play and I want to get back. I don't know what the gaffer is thinking but if he wants me back on the bench, then I'd be ready for it.
"Obviously my main aim is to be fit for next season because I want to pick up where I was at the start of this season. I was enjoying my football and that's why, of all the injuries, it's been one of the most frustrating."
Jamie put in a 65-minute stint in Wednesday reserve clash. "I enjoyed it out there," he said. "To be honest, I would have loved to have played the whole game but it's one of those situations where you have to be sensible.
"You make one wrong challenge as you're getting tired and sometimes that can be dangerous but it was good just to be back out there playing again."
Jamie Redknapp admits he'd jump at the chance to return to Premiership action before the end of the season.
