Jamie O’Hara has spelled out the determination within the team to get back to winning ways with three games of the season remaining.Juande Ramos’ side are currently without a win in four, but the England Under-21 international says there is too much pride running through the squad for the run to continue.

We face another team desperate for points to avoid relegation in Bolton Wanderers at The Lane on Saturday, and Jamie believes we must match them for determination.

He said: “We need to get back to winning ways. Everybody wants to win games and it’s frustrating when we’re not getting results.

“We’ve been playing against teams that need the points but we need to step on the gas now for the next three games.

“We’ve got pride in ourselves because we’re professionals who want to win games and we wouldn’t be playing football if we didn’t.

“The main point to make is that it hasn’t really happened for us in recent games, but we are fighting to get that result.”

Jamie started last weekend’s game at Wigan Athletic in an unnatural left-back role but, not the first time this season, he demonstrated his versatility.

He added: “I feel I can cope well there and do a job for the team, and I’m just trying to get as much experience from doing that as possible.”
