After a week of running and fitness work, the stylish midfielder has started to work with the ball again at Spurs Lodge this week.
Jamie admits he was tempted to try and return against Sunderland on Saturday but with a 16-day gap between fixtures, he is putting all his efforts into being available for Fulham at the Lane.
Out since December with the problem after such a promising start to his Spurs career, Jamie is determined to get back into the thick of the action.
"I feel good," he reported. "I ran all last week and now I've done some ball work and it's coming on well.
"I can't wait to get back out there.
"My aim is Fulham. I half wanted to push for the Sunderland game but because there isn't another game for a couple of weeks after that it would be more sensible to get back for Fulham on that Monday night.
"Hopefully I'll get a reserve game in before that and then be available if the gaffer needs me for that game."
Jamie Redknapp is targeting the home clash against Fulham on February 24 for his comeback after stepping up his rehabilitation from a fractured toe.
