Harry Redknapp reserved praise for Jake Livermore after his performance in central midfield against Everton.
Still only 22, Jake produced a man of the match display alongside Luka Modric up against the likes of Tim Cahill and Marouane Fellaini in the central areas as we ran out deserved 2-0 winners.
Jake, who was outstanding in an unfamiliar right-back role in Saturday's 3-0 FA Cup win against Cheltenham, continually won possession and kept his passing short and simple, starting a number of attacks.
In the end goals from Aaron Lennon and Benoit Assou-Ekotto's screamer secured another victory and moved us to joint-second in the Premier League, level with Manchester United.
"Jake was fantastic, absolutely superb and I was delighted for him," said Harry.
"As I've said many times, you couldn't get a better lad than Jake. He's a fantastic boy with a great attitude and he's a really good player.
"If you had a club full of people like that you'd have a great football club.
"When I first came to the club people said he wouldn't make it at Tottenham. Well, he's good enough to play for anyone."
