I WAS a little disappointed not to beat Norwich City but only for the result, not for the game. When we have a lot of situations to score it is not a bad game.
When we won the last game against Birmingham we only had one or two chances to score whereas against Norwich we had six, seven, eight chances.
But our opponents and their goalkeeper Green played well. I think there were two shots by Jermain, Robbie Keane and Atouba and Green had four or five international saves. My players are very disappointed but they shouldn't be disappointed for the performance.
Of course, Ledley's action to stop Huckerby scoring makes it a point won. It is often that a defender will stop when they see Huckerby beat the goalkeeper but he didn't stop and saved the situation.
Paul Robinson made good saves for us against West Brom, Newcastle and again against Norwich. Everyone knows he is a good goalkeeper - you know, I know and Mr Eriksson knows. But Paul also needs good defenders for his own performance and it's the same for Jermain, if his team-mates didn't give him good passes, it is not possible for him to score.
Perhaps some of our players were a little tired after playing internationals but at least we can have a good week of training before playing Chelsea.
