Saturday was a good result. We had a very difficult start to the game. Newcastle had three or four chances and if they had opened the scoring, I'm not sure about the final result.
But it is a good result for morale because as everyone knows we had a tough preparation, many injuries, new players coming in and it's good to have four points from the first two games against Liverpool and Newcastle.
When a goalkeeper, striker, midfielder has a good performance it is because he has confidence in his team-mates.
So when a goalkeeper sees 10 team-mates defending well, he is confident and Paul Robinson made four or five great saves. He played well but I hope in the next game he doesn't have as much to do. I always prefer it when my goalkeeper doesn't have to do a lot of work!
West Brom are next for us and I thought they played well against Aston Villa on Sunday because Villa are another good team.
As I said, preparations have been difficult and it has also been difficult to train because we have three games this week, then another international break. For us to have four points after two games it is good for morale. It is a long, hard season.
I AM very happy with what I have seen from my players in the first two games of the Premiership season.
