Johnnie Jackson is back in reserve team action away to Ipswich Town tonight following his return from a loan stint at Watford.
Development Coach Clive Allen is delighted to have the midfielder back in the fold as his side seek a first win in four games.
"As you can imagine, there has been a lot of spirit from Jacko and a lot of chat - as you would expect," smiled Clive. "He is good for team spirit, no doubt about that.
"I'm sure he will come back in and perform in the way he has when he has been in the first team or out on loan - I have no worries about Jacko."
With just four games remaining in this reserve campaign, Clive is determined to end the season in winning ways.
"Absolutely, it is the run-in to the end of the season for us, but we have had a couple of decent performances without the results lately. We are looking to get a win, we always approach games to perform in the right way and win, but we need to get a win on the board to give us confidence for the last few fixtures.
"It has gone very quickly - too quickly. It has been enjoyable, but frustrating at times. I've talked to the boys, looked at it and we have been beaten by the teams around us at the top end of the table. That is what we need to address, certainly next season."
