It was feared that the Norwegian striker might have fractured his cheekbone at the Reebok Stadium but X-rays on Sunday thankfully showed otherwise.
Speaking at Spurs Lodge after training today, Steffen revealed: "It was quite sore after the game but I had an X-ray on Sunday and it didn't show anything.
"I've trained today and it feels all right.
"That's good news because if there was anything more seriously wrong that would have been it for the season but the luck seems to have gone for me for a change.
"It's been another season like that and the last thing I needed at this stage was another injury.
"Hopefully I can finish the season well, play in a couple of internationals in the summer and get ready for next season."
Steffen Iversen was delighted to report no serious damage from his head injury at Bolton on Saturday.
