- Originally formed as West Bromwich Strollers after founders walked to Wednesbury to buy a football!

- At 551 feet, The Hawthorns is the highest ground above sea level in the UK

- West Brom are the only club in history to gain promotion to the top flight and win the FA Cup in the same season, 1930-31.

- Albion became the first ever team to avoid relegation from the Premier League having been bottom at Christmas in 2004/05.
