Captain of club and country, Hugo became France's most-capped goalkeeper as he lined-up at Stade de la Route de Lorient.

It was Hugo's 88th cap, taking him one past former United goalkeeper and France's legendary World Cup-winning goalkeeper Fabian Barthez.

On the pitch, Hugo was relatively untroubled in keeping another clean sheet in the friendly, preparation for France's World Cup qualifier against Sweden next Friday, June 9.

France ran out 5-0 winners. Moussa came off the bench for the start of the second half and converted Les Bleus' fourth goal from Alexandre Lacazette's pass in the 76th minute. Olivier Giroud claimed a hat-trick with Antoine Griezmann completing the goalscoring.

After Sweden, Hugo and Moussa finish their season with an intriguing friendly against England and a number of Spurs team-mates at the Stade de France on Tuesday, June 13.

Vincent Janssen was on target as Holland beat Morocco 2-1 in a friendly on Wednesday night.

The striker forced a couple of saves in the first half before latching onto Quincy Promes' pass and finishing in the second half. He played for 73 minutes.

Youngster Japhet Tanganga started and completed 90 minutes as England Under-20s made it two wins in two on Thursday to progress to the semi-finals of the Toulon Tournament in France. The Young Lions hammered Cuba 7-1.

Vincent Janssen is back action as the Netherlands face the Ivory Coast at home in a friendly on Sunday.

Christian Maghoma is with the DR Congo squad for a friendly against Botswana while Japhet Tanganga and England U20s have the final group match of the Toulon Tournament against Japan.
