Internationals - Hugo's France brush Scotland aside

Hugo Lloris kept a clean sheet for France as the Euro 2016 host nation finished their preparations for the showpiece tournament with a comfortable win over Scotland on Saturday evening (June 4).


Captain of club and country, Hugo played the full 90 minutes in goal as Les Bleus notched a 3-0 victory in Metz.

France kick-off proceedings at Euro 2016 against Romania this Friday, June 10.

Elsewhere on Saturday, defender Kevin Wimmer remained an unused substitute for Austria as they lost 2-0 to the Netherlands in Vienna in another pre-Euro 2016 friendly.

Earlier in the day, young full-back Kyle Walker-Peters played the first half of England Under-19s’ 2-0 defeat away to Mexico. He was withdrawn at the break as the Young Lions made a raft of changes while Josh Onomah was an unused substitute.
