Jamie O'Hara hopes to kick-off international week tonight (Tuesday) with his first cap for England Under-21s against Poland at Wolves.

The midfielder - goalscorer against Portsmouth on Saturday - is in Stuart Pearce's squad for the second time for this friendly at Molineux having failed to feature against the Republic of Ireland last month.

"It's great to be in the squad and hopefully I'll be involved," said Jamie before joining up at the weekend.

YOUTH INTERNATIONALS - TUESDAY NIGHT

Academy midfielder Dean Parrett is with the England U17 squad for the European Championship Elite Round in Tel Aviv, Israel. England face France on Tuesday, Russia on Thursday and Israel on Sunday and must win the group to progress to the finals in Turkey in May. There are seven elite groups with group winners joining the hosts in the finals.

David Button, in fine form for the reserves, is in the England U19 squad for a friendly against Russia at MK Dons on Tuesday night.

Cian Hughton and David Hutton are in the Republic of Ireland U19 squad for a double-header against France with the first game at Waterford, the second on Thursday in Cork.

WEDNESDAY QUALIFIERS

Young-Pyo Lee is in the South Korea squad as they meet North Korea in a World Cup qualifying match in Shanghai, China, on Wednesday night. It will be the third time that the Koreas cross swords with each other in a FIFA World Cup qualifying campaign, and it was the South Koreans who emerged victorious on both occasions - 1-0 in 1989 and 3-0 in 1993. The pair have started with a win each in Group Three of Asian qualifying.

Back in European U21 qualifying, Chris Gunter is in the Wales squad looking to build on their position at the head of Group 10 at struggling Bosnia-Herzegovina in Sarajevo.

WEDNESDAY FRIENDLY ACTION

It's a busy night of international friendly action on Wednesday. Jonathan Woodgate and Paul Robinson are in the England squad travelling to Paris to face France while Alan Hutton is in the Scotland squad to face Croatia.

Didier Zokora's Ivory Coast take on Tunisia and two of our players could face each other as Dimitar Berbatov's Bulgaria face Teemu Tainio's Finland in the Vassil Stadium, Sofia.

It's the same situation in an Under-21 friendly as Younes Kaboul's France tackle Tomas Pekhart's Czech Republic in a friendly at the Stade Robert Diochon in Rouen.
