Tottenham Hotspur (Spurs) Football Club is located in North London. The club is also known as Spurs. Tottenham's home ground is White Hart Lane. The club motto is Audere est Facere (To dare is to do).

Emil Hallfredsson's hopes of appearing in next year's European Under-21 Championship finals faded further on Tuesday night.

The 20-year-old - nine appearances for our reserves last season - couldn't help Iceland overcome Malta in qualfying Group Eight.

The goalless draw against the group's bottom side left Iceland five points adrift of second-placed Sweden with three games left.

Two Spurs players are in senior international action tonight with Andy Reid facing a must-win match in World Cup qualfying with the Republic of Ireland travelling to the Faroe Islands in Group Four.

Robbie Keane was withdrawn from the squad on Monday with a shoulder injury sustained in Saturday's 2-2 draw against Israel in Dublin.

Ireland boss Brian Kerr said: "I thought it was serious as soon as he went down on Saturday. He’s not a quitter. You’ll rarely see Robbie going off with an injury and he’s playing in an area of the pitch where it’s tough going. He gets a fair few clips and bumps but I’ve rarely seen him going off in any match at any level.

“There was no improvement, he could barely raise his arm above hip level."

Meanwhile, Erik Edman faces a friendly for Sweden against Norway.
