Ben Alnwick and Tom Huddlestone - who trained at Spurs Lodge earlier this week - are with the England Under-21 squad for a European Championship qualifier against Montenegro at the City Stadium, Podgorica.

Meanwhile, Younes Kaboul takes on Wales with France, Kieran McKenna is in the Northern Ireland squad facing Northern Ireland at Glenarvon's Mourneview Park. Staying with U21s, Tomas Pekhart continues to play above his age for the Czech Republic at Armenia on Saturday.

SATURDAY ACTION

Paul Robinson and Jermain Defoe are in the England squad for the first of two vital European Championship qualifying matches against Israel at Wembley.

Gareth Bale has a high-profile qualifier against Germany while Dimitar Berbatov's Bulgaria face a key match against Holland.

Robbie Keane and Teemu Tainio are also hoping to make it to the finals with the Republic of Ireland and Finland respectively. Irish skipper Robbie faces Slovakia on Saturday while Teemu travels to Serbia.

Meanwhile, Didier Zokora faces Gabon with Ivory Coast in an African Nations qualifier.
